Toddler Tennis for 2 years old and over

These sessions are geared to be either impromptu 'Drop-In' events to join in as you please or as complete courses where you can book in advance. Ask for information on adult options while you wait or just relax by the TV with a cup of tea, coffee or cold drink.

The sessions offer -

• An Introduction to the game of tennis
• Encourage children to be active
• The fundamentals of agility, balance and co-ordination
• Sending and receiving skills - bean bag throws and bounce/catches with tennis balls
• Basic ball and racket skills along the floor - rolling rallies, stopping the ball and sending it away
• Basic hitting skills

Case studies of toddlers’ tennis have demonstrated that their development can be enhanced and such activity has been considered a great success in creating top performance juniors. The undertaking of the course assists a child’s development, which can lead to an improved quality of life.
